About Me

My photo
I love Jesus. I love my family. I love photography. I love books. I love thinking. Probably in that order. I have a wonderful husband, five beautiful daughters, a house, and a camera. I enjoy spending time talking to my husband, playing with my girls, redecorating my house and shooting things with my camera. In my spare time, I sleep.

Adventures in toddlerhood parenting...

So tonight I was sitting upstairs in my recliner reading a book about being the mother to toddlers (ironically!) and Russ was downstairs playing video games. I was holding the baby and Eden was running back and forth between us. I assumed *always a mistake* that Jasmine was downstairs with Russ and he thought she was with me. When we realized that she was unaccounted for we went looking for her. We found her in the bathroom, like this...

The lesson learned?  Never assume ANYTHING when it comes to toddlers and never let Jasmine do her own makeup--(unless she's training for a position as a circus clown or auditioning to play the Joker.)

WOW! I just showed Morgan (while I was laughing my head off!), and he said, "Looks like the Joker"... :) Very impressive...and so cute! Did you think it was cute or impressive? Or did you freak out? :)
I can never keep your girls straight...but now that you've reminded me that Jasmine is the middle girl :), it's so funny, because I was just looking through the pictures you posted yesterday and remarked to Morgan how much I thought Jasmine looked like Sadie...even without the Mad Face. :)

We laughed hysterically! Of course the first thing I did was run for my camera. It was kind of hard to wash off but we couldn't get mad because it was way too funny. (I don't wear lipstick very often anyway!)

I'm pretty impressed that she got the eye makeup and lip makeup where they belonged. . .
